Anna Kendrick (born in Portland in Maine) is an American Oscar nominated actress. She has played in many successful films like Twilight as well as being most well known for playing the supporting character. As a child she debuted on Broadway as a member of High Society. A Little Night Music - an original Stephen Sondheim song - was performed by the New York City Opera after she was awarded a Theatre World Award. After that, she branched out into movies, and rose to notoriety as an actress thanks to her part on the film Twilight. In this romantic fantasy film, she played the friend of the protagonist. For The Twilight Saga New Moon She reprised her character. She's also made a few appearances on TV, including the episodes on Fear Itself and Comedy Bang! Bang! Singer, too. Anna Kendrick sang a cover of the hit song Cups to soundtrack the film Pitch Perfect, appearing in the music video too. The track reached the 6th spot on the US Billboard 100 as well as No.2 in US Adult Top 40.
